Oct & Nov '18 - OLIVER

Updated: Sep 12, 2019

Production for High School Never Ends, the Bowling For Soup Jukebox Musical continues alongside house viewings in Leeds... ...exciting things ahead, stressful but necessary! I covered a few sessions for Stagecoach Chester who were preparing for their production of "The Pirates of Penzance". Then it was off to Bristol to meet & rehearse the cast of "High School Never Ends" -what a fantastic atmosphere! Everyone was excited to contribute ideas and make the production able to be its best. They were even suggesting their own harmony parts! I performed on keys for a week of "The Addam's Family" in Garstang Community Academy with an 11-piece band with a sense of humour.. After that it was straight on to "Oliver!" with Powerplay Musical Theatre Company at the Pavilion Theatre, Rhyl. It was my first time conducting the entire band live for a production. We had a 9-piece orchestra that sounded epic. What a pleasure to work alongside world-class musicians.

Amongst all of that, we moved into a new flat in Leeds City Centre...
